I used all of my skill and experience to create this

fabulous model of a Harley Davidson Softail and

preserve for the future an image of one of the most

beautiful driving machines created in the 20th century.

The miniature motorcycle is made of solid 18-carat gold

based on pure gold that is alloyed with silver and

copper to achieve the proper bright colour and tensile

strength.

The model is 100% handmade, with no use of a lathe or

any kind of casting. The fine details of this model are on

a scale of 1:24, making the motorcycle 101 mm long

and 55 mm high. The front headlight is a 0.58 ct. W/vs

diamond and the rear light is a specially cut 0.43 ct.

ruby. 56 other diamonds are set in various places on

the model adding up to a total weight of 1.46 ct.

To keep this fine jewel-sculpture I handcrafted a box of

bog oak, which is 7450 years old. The box has hinges,

inlays and an 18-carat gold lock. Opening the box will

reveal a glass disk turntable that supports and displays

the motorcycle. The model is unique and one of a kind –

there will never be another one like it.
